At least three Palestinian militants were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a car in the Gaza Strip today.
The Israeli army had no immediate comment on the blast that tore through the vehicle near the Karni Crossing between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
Witnesses said an Israeli aircraft attacked a car, killing three members of the Popular Resistance Committees, a coalition of Palestinian militants.
The blast appeared to be the latest in a series of deadly airstrikes against militants who Israel has accused of involvement in cross-border rocket strikes and other attacks. Israel renewed targeted strikes after a Palestinian suicide bombing killed five Israelis on December 5th.
