Republic of Ireland managerMick McCarthy has named a massive 39-man squad for the friendly against Croatia at Lansdowne Road on August 15th.

He will reduce thisto 22before calling up the team.

Phil Babb returns to the squadfor the first time since last September when he was dropped for disciplinary reasons.
