Dhaka - The number of deaths in Bangladesh's worst ferry disaster rose to 144, the BSS news agency reported yesterday.
It said 33 more bodies were found yesterday, four days after the accident, when the sunken ferry was refloated. The overcrowded boat sank after colliding with another ferry in heavy fog on the Meghna river near Chandpur, 100 km south-east of Dhaka on Friday.
