Bausch & Lomb Ireland in Waterford is to create 30 new jobs to be as a result of new euro 6

Bausch & Lomb Ireland in Waterford is to create 30 new jobs to be as a result of new euro 6.3 million R&D programme, the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment Ms Harney announced today.

Welcoming the investment, the Tánaiste said today "This is exactly the kind of investment that the Government and IDA Ireland want for the client base of overseas companies already located here."

Bausch & Lomb Ireland, established in Waterford since 1980, is a developer and manufacturer of contact lenses for worldwide markets. It currently employs 1,800 people in Waterford, which is now the largest manufacturing plant within the Bausch & Lomb Corporation.
