A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital last night after being shot in the latest so-called "punishment" attack in the North.

A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital last night after being shot in the latest so-called "punishment" attack in the North.

Four masked men, one with a shotgun, burst into the kitchen of the house at Beechmount Parade in west Belfast and ordered the victim's father upstairs.

They then shot the boy in the leg. PA
