Bill - president again?

Bill Clinton has been casting around for a new job since he left the White House in January. Might he have his eye on another run as president? This time, though, not of the US but of Ireland? The idea is being cheerfully touted by Stella O'Leary, the Mayo-born Washington-based Democratic fund-raiser and President of Irish American Democrats. O'Leary accompanied Clinton to the North in May, where he was heard to remark to her how wonderful it would be if he were elected president of Ireland and could make a state visit to Washington so that President George W Bush would have to receive him with full honours. "Better still," said O'Leary, "if you went back as President of Ireland and were received by President Hilary Clinton." "Indeed," said Clinton. Everyone within earshot thought it a huge joke. But is there anything in either constitution to stop it happening?
