Racing: Bobs Worth edged out Cue Card in a thrilling finish to the Fuller's London Pride Novices' Chase at Newbury. The winner, making his chasing debut, tracked his main rival throughout the contest and was closing him down when hampered by Cue Card's jockey Joe Tizzard who was nearly knocked out of the saddle at the third last.
Barry Geraghty gave Bobs Worth plenty of time to find his rhythm again but was still a couple of lengths down going to the last. However, his partner was willing on the flat and knucked down well to reel-in his rival in the final 50 yards.
Henderson said: "He'll improve a lot for that. "I know he's going to finish up at three miles, but I wasn't in a rush to start him over that trip. Barry said he was confident at the last that he would get there, and I'm glad he was, at least.
"Kempton (Feltham Chase on Boxing Day) is the obvious race. I know you'd bump into Grands Crus but that's what the race is there for, and it's something we'll discuss."
Colin Tizzard said of the runner-up: "We have just got nabbed by a very good horse - he just outstayed him.
"I thought four or five out that he (Cue Card) was always going to win, but the 7lb penalty has found him out."
Sky Bet left the winner unchanged at 8-1 for the RSA Chase at Cheltenham.
