PANMUNJOM - North Korea yesterday returned remains believed to be those of a US pilot missing since the Korean War shortly after giving a hero's welcome to a North Korean soldier who had drifted into South Korea in a swollen river. The hand overs took place at the only crossing point in the Demilitarised Zone that separates the two Koreas.
