A BOY killed when his moped crashed into a wall has been named as Richard Mooney (15), from Lakeside Park, Newbridge, Co Kildare. The accident occurred on Monday evening in the estate where he lived.
A man was killed when he was knocked down by a car as he crossed the Castlebar/Swinford road in Co Mayo late on Monday night. He was named as Mr Owen McDonagh (27), of Moneen, Castlebar.
