Gaelic games round-up:Offaly's Kilcormac/Killoughey claimed a first Leinster Club hurling title as they condemned Wexford's Oulart-The Ballagh to a third straight defeat in the provincial decider at Nowlan Park in Kilkenny.

Spurred on by a goal in the first minute from Dan Currams, the Offaly side went on to lead 1-7 to 0-7 at half-time before claiming the title on a 1-12 to 0-11 scoreline.

Oulart-The Ballagh were only once ahead after Rory Jacob opened the scoring, with the defeat their fifth in five attempts in the Leinster decider.

There is also a new name on the Leinster Club football trophy after Dublin’s Ballymun Kickhams beat Portlaoise 0-11 to 0-8 at Cusack Park in Mullingar.
