A British firm of architects, Benson & Forsyth, has been awarded the contract to design the Clare Street extension to the National Gallery of Ireland.
The competition was administered by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland and the winning entry accepted from a short list of 10 in an international competition which attracted more than 90 entries worldwide.
