Dubai - A British man alleged to have hacked into the UAE Internet system denied the accusations yesterday and said he had filed law suits for defamation and damages against local telecoms firm Etisalat.

"I have no idea what they (Etisalat) are talking about, I am being used as a scapegoat," 21-year-old Mr Lee Alan Ashurst of Manchester told a news conference in Dubai.
