Washington - President Bush said yesterday Congress had reached a budget deal that made "a lot of sense" but he gave no details or specific figures.
Earlier, aides said Republicans in Congress had nailed down details of a $1.97 trillion budget plan. The House of Representatives and Senate still have to hold final votes on it.
