Damascus - A high-speed bus collision in Syria yesterday killed 19 people and left 12 others injured, the official SANA news agency said.
The bus plowed into a minibus near the central Syrian city of Palmyra north of Damascus, it said, adding that survivors said the bus had been travelling at "excessive speed."
