Gardaí seized 100 kilograms of cannabis resin and arrested two men after stopping and searching a car in north Dublin.
The drugs, which were discovered in the vehicle on the M1 motorway near Swords yesterday, have an estimated street value of €700,000.
Two men aged 24 and 31 years were detained at Ballymun Garda station under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
They can be questioned for up to seven days.

“At approximately 5pm, officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit stopped two cars on the M1 near Swords,” a Garda spokesman said.
“A search of one of the vehicles uncovered boxes containing the cannabis, which has an estimated street value of €700,000.”
