The chairman of Rural ReSettlement Ireland Ltd has condemned new Government regulations on testing of cars over four years old.

Mr Jim Connolly, the founder of the organisation, which encourages city dwellers to move to the country, said the Department of Environment regulations would discriminate against lower income people who cannot afford good cars.
