A cash-in-transit worker was threatened at knifepoint and robbed in west Belfast today.
The delivery man was held up by an armed robber at the back of a supermarket on the Stewartstown Road shortly before 9.15am.
The robber, believed to be in his early 20s, forced the worker to hand over a cash box which contained an undisclosed sum. After the robbery, the man jumped over a wall into Suffolk Avenue and is believed to have made his getaway in a small black-coloured Peugeot car.
The robber has been described as around 5ft 8in, of slim build, dark shaved short hair, dressed in a dark coloured fleece top, light blue jeans, light coloured trainers and a dark coloured baseball cap.
Police at Grosvenor Road Police Station said they were keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the attack.
