A man (54) was killed and another seriously injured in a car crash in Co Cavan last night.
The victim was named this afternoon as Mr Sean Fitzsimmons from Beaghy, Stradone, Co Cavan.
The single-vehicle incident happened on the N3 at Stradone between Cavan town and Virginia at 8.40 p.m.
The injured man has been taken to Cavan General Hospital.
