Celtic chief executive Ian McLeod is confident the 12 warring Scottish Premier League clubs can resolve their differences following a three-hour meeting at Hampden Park this morning.
The clubs met in a bid to solve the problems which threaten the future of the Scottish Premier League.
The 10 non-Old Firm clubs handed in their resignations from the league after Rangers and Celtic pulled the plug on SPL TV in April.
McLeod said: "It was a relatively constructive meeting. It appears now that there are a number of clubs who want to see a resolution to the difficulties the SPL has faced.
"I'm pretty confident now that we will see a resolution. There are still a number of technical difficulties that need to be resolved.
"But I think that the indication from a number of the clubs is that we want to move the SPL forward on a positive note and I'm confident that's what's going to prevail."
The clubs will meet again on January 22nd.
