Celtic's Old Firm clash with Rangers will go ahead at Ibrox on April 27th after Martin O'Neill's side today withdrew a request to vote on the scheduling of the fixture.
The Parkhead club was angered by the decision to stage the potential championship decider on the Sunday - less than three days after the UEFA Cup semi-final second leg at Boavista.
But, after a meeting with Strathclyde Police this morning, the club decided not to pursue a date change due to safety concerns.
Celtic were due to put their case for a re-vote to the SPL board at a meeting at Hampden Park tomorrow.
