Moscow - Moscow's City Court said it had dropped charges against the Russia's embattled prosecutor Mr Yuri Skuratov.
A deputy Moscow city prosecutor last month charged Mr Skuratov with abusing his office at a time when Mr Skuratov was involved in a high-profile dispute with the Kremlin.
During the confrontation, Russian state television broadcast footage of a man resembling Mr Skuratov in bed with two women. Mr Skuratov never denied it was him and said it was intended to blackmail him to protect high officials from corruption charges.
