Church ban on paedophile

Sheffield - A convicted paedophile has been banned from attending churches across an entire diocese in what is believed to be an unprecedented move by the Church of England, it was disclosed yesterday. A spokesman for the Diocese of Sheffield said the ban had been made to protect children. Details of the paedophile, who has not been named, were being circulated to neighbouring dioceses.
