GAA round-up: Clare summoned a most impressive display to end Waterford's 100 per cent start to the National Hurling League with a convincing seven-point victory at Cusack Park.

Indeed, the victory was all the more impressive as Tony Considine's team came from behind having gone in 0-6 to 0-5 behind at the break.

But Bernard Gaffney, Barry Nugent, Tony Carmody and Kevin Dilleen were particularly sharp in front of the posts in the second half and edged Clare into a comfortable lead.

Gaffney then secured the points when finding the back of the Waterford net in the closing stages.

"Everyone was a bit down after losing to Wexford," said Considine, "but we wont get too excited with today's win either.

"It's only March and there is a lot of hurling to be played this year. I don't think Waterford will get too worried either, but we fought hard and I'm delighted with that."

Dublin's revival continues.  Following a draw with Kilkenny last month, the Dubs went one better by beating Ger Loughnane's Galway at Parnell Park.

Galway led by three points at the break but Dublin battled gamely and leveled the scores at 1-5 apiece in the second half.

Goals from Padraig O'Driscoll and Liam Ryan saw Dublin edge ahead and, indeed, those strikes formed the platform from which the home side secured their memorable victory.

Wexford recorded their second victory of the campaign by beating Offaly by four points.  Paul Carley's was inspirational, scoring 1-4.

Cork survived a scare as they were run close by Down at Ballygalget before emerging victorious on a 1-10 to 2-5 scoreline.

At one stage Cork trailed 2-5 to 0-6 but the Rebels staged a courageous fightback.

Eoin Murphy revived his side with a goal in the 52nd minute and further points from Kieran Murphy, Joe Deane and Cathal Naughton secured full points for the Munster side.

Tipperary made hard work of their game against Antrim but eventually won out on a 1-11 to 0-9 scoreline.
