The retrial of Lee Clegg, the paratrooper convicted five years ago of the murder of Karen Reilly, will take place next November, Belfast Crown Court heard yesterday.
He was granted an appeal in February. Clegg spoke three times during the 20-minute hearing when the charges of murdering Ms Reilly and attempting to wound another Belfast teenager, Martin Peake, were formally put to him.
Clegg, released on unconditional bail, was ordered to appear for a hearing in June.
