WASHINGTON - President Clinton enjoys a 22 percentage point lead over his Republican rival, Mr Bob Dole, according to a Harris poll released yesterday. The poll of 1,005 adults, of whom 871 were registered voters, found Mr Clinton leading Dole by 50 per cent to 28 per cent.
The Texas billionaire, Mr Ross Perot, would take 16 per cent of the vote, subtracting support almost equally from Mr Clinton and Mr Dole.
