Racing: Today's meeting at Clonmel has been abandoned mid-card due to prevailing ground conditions.
A number of horses had fallen on the downhill run approaching the straight and senior jockeys Barry Geraghty, Conor O’Dwyer and David Casey met with stewards after the third race to complain about the track.
Clonmel officials, who also abandoned their meeting on December 8th because of poor ground, subsequently called off the rest of the meeting with three races remaining.
