Republic of Ireland and Wimbledon striker David Connolly has been sidelined for two weeks with a hamstring injury.

Republic of Ireland and Wimbledon striker David Connolly has been sidelined for two weeks with a hamstring injury.

He sustained the injury in the club's 3-0 FA Cup win over Rotherham United at the weekend.

Connolly, who is the second top scorer in Division One with 14 goals from 14 games, will miss Wimbledon's home tie with Grimsby on Saturday.

He is also rated doubtful for the trip to his old club, Wolverhampton Wanderers the week after.
