GAA:Kerry's Colm Cooper and Paul Galvin have both been passed fit to line out for in next Sunday's All-Ireland football final against Cork.

However, the all-Munster decider has come too soon for Kieran Donaghy, whose lack of match practice since recovering from a foot injury means he will have to be content with a place on the substitute’s bench.

"He's been playing football now for the last couple of weeks and showing pretty good form in training, so we're happy enough with him. Obviously it would be great if we had a bit more time," said Kerry manager Jack O'Connor.

Cooper and Galvin were declared fit despite being troubled by respective hip and stomach muscle injuries.

O'Connor is expecting the final to be a tough battle.

"Cork have taken a few points on board from the northern teams, where they're getting a lot of bodies back and tackling ferociously at times,” added the Kerry manager.

“And the key for us is we're going to have to move the ball very quickly because if you dwell on the ball, these fellas are taking tackling to a new level."
