Gardaí have named the two people who died in separate crashes in Cork and Kilkenny yesterday.
Gerard Barrett (41), a father of one from Farranree in Cork city, died after his car collided with a truck shortly after 9.30am on the N20 Mallow road near Rathduff.
Kay Moore (46) from Piltown, Co Kilkenny, died when the car she was driving crashed into a ditch in at Kildalton at about 12.10am.
