STRASBOURG - The parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe will hold an emergency debate next week on the situation in Albania, a spokesman for the pan European organisation said yesterday.
The assembly, in which 39 European states, including Albania, are represented, will debate contested elections won last month by the ruling Democratic Party.
