A 20-year-old woman has been shot in the foot in Co Louth. The shooting happened around 5pm yesterday in Dundalk.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the incident, which occurred at Maple Drive on the Maple Close Estate.
The woman was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where her injuries were described as non-life threatening.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
