Armed raiders stole cash from three shops in east Cork on Tuesday morning.

The three raiders, in their early 30s, were armed with knives and drove a black Ford Kuga, with the registration number 161-C-15621.

They held up a Topaz filling station in Fermoy at about 7am, a Centra shop in Watergrasshill at 9.30am and a Glanworth Stores outlet west of Fermoy at about 10am.

They made off with cash in all three cases. There were no injuries.
