Cannabis worth more than €800,000 has been seized in Dublin.
Gardaí on patrol in Tallaght stopped a van they saw acting suspiciously and discovered 9kg of herbal cannabis. The drugs have been valued at an estimated €180,000 by gardaí.
A man was arrested and taken to Tallaght Garda station where he is being held under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice( Drug Trafficking ) Act 1996.
During a following up search, gardaí found 32kg of cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €640,000 in a premises in Blanchardstown.
