Gardaí renew appeal over paintings stolen from Wicklow house

Works by Jack B Yeats, Sir John Lavery and Paul Henry taken from property at Donard last year

The Fern in the Area by Jack B Yeats, which measures 40cm by 50cm, was one of three paintings stolen from a house in Donard, Co Wicklow.

Gardaí are continuing to investigate the theft of three valuable paintings from a house in Co Wicklow last year.

They have appealed again for information about the three stolen paintings, which were Portrait of a Lady by Sir John Lavery, Landscape with Cottage by Paul Henry, and The Fern in the Area by Jack B Yeats.

The burglary occurred at a house in Donard on the evening of October 22nd last. The scene of the burglary was preserved and a technical examination was carried out at the time, but no arrests were made.
