Man (24) assaulted twice in Dublin city centre by two men

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after 24-year-old man was assaulted twice in Dublin city centre.

The man was approached and assualted by two men with Eastern European accents in the Summerhill area at around 3am on Thursday. He was further attacked by the same two men on the North Circular Road.

He was taken to the Mater hospital for treatment with non-life threatening injuries.

Gardaí at Mountjoy are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 01 6668600.
