Man (25) to appear in court over €380,000 ecstasy seizure

A 25-year-old man has been arrested after ecstasy tablets with an estimated value of € 380,000 were seized during the planned search of a premises at Oak Rise in Clondalkin, west Dublin on Friday evening.

A man is to appear in court on Monday charged in connection with the seizure of ecstasy tablets worth an estimated € 380,000 in Dublin.

The haul was found on Friday evening after gardaí carried out a search at a premises at Oak Rise in Clondalkin.

A small quantity of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia was also seized during the search. A 25-year-old man was arrested afterwards and taken to Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

He was charged on Saturday and is to appear before Blanchardstown District Court on Monday.
