A woman in her 40s has been arrested after an elaborate cannabis grow house was discovered in Powerscourt,Waterford yesterday afternoon.
Cannabis plants at various stages of growth, with an estimated street value of up to € 170,000 and cannabis herb with an estimated street value of up to €300,000 were discovered during the search of a house at Coppinger Court.
She is currently being held at Tramore Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.
