A police investigation is underway after a woman’s body was discovered following a house fire in south Belfast.
Police said the woman, believed to be in her 50s, was found at a property in the Archdale Drive area of the Belvoir Estate on Sunday. Police received a report of the fire shortly after 2pm.
A postmortem examination will take place to determine the cause of death.
A PSNI spokesman said an investigation into the cause of the fire and the death of the woman have now commenced.
