Irish-based travel software firm Datalex slipped to a first-half pre-tax loss due to restructuring costs.
For the six months ended June 30th, it posted a pre-tax loss of $855,000 compared to a profit of $1.6 million. The company incurred a restructuring cost of $1.2 million in the first half of the year.
Revenue for the period grew to $15.7 million from $12.4 million. E-business revenue rose to $12.8 million from $8.9 million.
The provider of travel distribution and software solutions said it is still successful in closing transaction revenue contracts, though they do not add to revenue in the short term.
