DCC has shed its 49 per cent interest in Manor Park Homebuilders Limited.
In a statement today, DCC said it had received a dividend of €172 million from Manor Park, as franked investment income.
The firm said the dividend received will give rise to an exceptional profit of approximately €86 million.
"DCC now expects to report an overall group exceptional profit for the year as a whole of approximately €25 million," it said.
Following the receipt of this dividend, the value of DCC's 49 per cent shareholding in Manor Park is no longer material, it added.
