The Department of Defence has sold its Murphy Army Barracks in Ballincollig, County Cork, to a developer for €41m.
The 90-acre site was sold to Cork-based O'Flynn Construction Construction Ltd.
O'Flynn Construction, with offices at Model Farm Road, had refused to finalise the deal with the Department until a dispute over the lease was resolved.
Planning permission was granted for a €400 million development at the barracks earlier this year.
