Ireland has significantly lower levels of dioxins than many European countries, countries, according to a survey of cows' milk carried out last June for the Environmental Protection Agency. It found that the milk taken from creameries backed up by additional samples from areas near waste incinerators and chemical plants, contained concentrations 38 times lower than the UK standard for milk.
