Manchester - A bus driver was yesterday committed for trial charged with murdering eight-year-old Jamie Lavis, whose body was found six months after he disappeared.
Mr Darren Vickers (27) was remanded in custody by Manchester magistrates. Mr Vickers, of Shaw Heath, Stockport, is charged with the abduction and murder of Jamie, who lived in Openshaw, Manchester.
