London - Twenty-seven drivers are to be prosecuted following a multiple pile-up in fog on the M42 motorway which left three people dead and 62 injured. West Mercia police yesterday announced that the drivers had been arrested and face charges from causing death by dangerous driving to driving with defective tyres. The action comes after an inquiry into the incident between junctions one and two, the Alvechurch and Bromsgrove turn-offs in Hereford and Worcester on March 10th last.
