Counterfeit goods worth €400,000 have been seized by Dublin detectives, it emerged today.

Counterfeit goods worth €400,000 have been seized by Dublin detectives, it emerged today.

A raid on a market in Tallaght last Sunday yielded €350,000 worth of couterfeit branded clothing displaying false brands such as Burberry, Lacoste, Nike, Ellesse, Levi, Diesel, Addidas and Reebok.

Around €50,000-worth of counterfeit CDs, DVDs and videos were also seized. No arrests were made.
