Damien Duff has been passed fit to face boyhood heroes Celtic in Thursday night's UEFA Cup second round, 2nd leg.

The Blackburn Rovers winger missed Saturday's Barclaycard Premiership match at Southampton because of a calf strain but was given a clean bill of health by the Ewood Park club this morning.

Despite dominating the first leg for long periods, Rovers trail their Scottish opponents 1-0 in the tie and go into Thursday's match as slight underdogs to progress.
