A Bob Dylan open air show in Belfast has been switched indoors after concert promoters failed to obtain a grant, it emerged tonight.
It was due to take place in the sloping grounds at Stormont on June 26th, but has now been moved to the city's Odyssey Arena.
The Northern Ireland Events Company, a body set up to promote major attractions, had been expected to provide funding.
But according to Jim Aiken of Aiken Promotions he has had to re-locate because of the failure to get a grant.
He said: "I am disappointed, but the fact that the Events Company has already allocated its budget for this financial year means that we cannot get a grant.
"Stormont is a wonderful setting, but all the facilities and services have to be built on the site.
"I am disappointed, but the costs of infrastructure make the promotion of this event impossible without the grant."
Elton John, Rod Stewart, the Eagles and Pavarotti have headlined previous open air Stormont concerts.
