Details of the legal strategy adopted by the Blood Transfusion
Service Board in the case of the late Mrs Brigid McCole are expected to be released within two weeks. A Government spokesman said last night that progress had been made in examining the relevant documentation. The Minister for Health, Mr Cowen, will brief Cabinet colleagues on the matter today.
