Gardaí in Dublin have seized ecstasy tablets worth up to €2 million.

Some 60 kilograms of the drug were found in a lorry in on the Estuary Road, Swords, at 11.55 today, a Garda spokeswoman said.

"This seizure, depending on the results of forensic analysis of the substances seized, may have a potential street value of approximately €2 million," she added.

Two men in their mid 20s were arrested and taken to Swords and Coolock Garda stations for questioning.

They are being held under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
