Did you have any hidden talents at school? No!
Most inspirational teacher and why? Fr Gearóid O Sullivan and Fr Paddy O'Donoghue, now both dead, both history teachers. Also Fr John Doyle (Latin!) and Fr Brendan Steen (Maths).
Where did you go to college? UCD
What's the best aspect of the Irish education system? The friends one made at school.
What's the worst aspect of the Irish education system? Its authoritarian ethos.
What song most reminds you of your school days? A song from The Student Prince, which began with the line "Come boys, let's all be gay boys".
